Newsletter from the Independent Living Center December 2011 
On the 3rd of December all the teenagers went to participate in the 10 anniversary of Lorenzo Home at the Chonburi Province. That day all the teenagers attended Holy Mass with Bishop Silvio Siriphong Chalassri the Bishop of Chantaburi dioces who was a chairman in the ceremony. Then all the teenagers were very enjoyed the shows from The Lorenzo Home and The Camillian Social Center Rayong. All the teenagers brought some Batik things (Paint color on the cloth) for the souvenirs to The Lorenzo Home at Chonburi Province.

Welcome more stories this month from The Independent Living Center November 2011. During November we were very happy to attend the Loy Krathong, one of the two main festivities in the Thai year. However this year the festivities where played down because of the flooding in Bangkok. Many people in that area had it very hard for living, with not enough food and every day necessaries. All the teenagers at the center where very aware of the surfing in Bangkok and very much wished the people there, well in this troubled time. We prayed for them. God blessed them.

On the 5th -7th of October all the teenagers had many activity’s to do with together. They practiced how to do make batik things during their vacation. That activity was a part of project of experience. They said that it was fun and had the good idea to make a design on the cloths. They hope to give batik cloths for a thank you too the visitors and the kind people when they came too visit.
On the 10th of October all the teenagers went to attend the funeral of the grandfather of Fr. Phakavee Siengjaroen at the St.Roch Church in Chachoengsao Province.

On the 7th of August, a group of crew members of the USS George Washington came to Thailand for relaxing and took all the teenagers from the Independent living center to Pattaya Park. All the teenagers enjoyed swimming and eating pizza for lunch. Finally, they gave some souvenir with a picture of the warship and brooches to each teenagers and supervisors in the event. Thank you very much for their kindness. We hope they are happy.

On the 9th of July all the teenagers went to Ordination Mass of the new Thai priest, Fr. Luke Anusorn Nilkert at Ascending Chruch, Sampran, Nakornpathaom Province. Last 3 years he was here and had a period of helping at the PCU (Palliative Care Unit) at the center for one year.
On the 15th of July we organized the birthday party for 5 teenagers at the Independent Living Center; they are Jame, Mint, Tukkata 2, Fern 1 and Ngo.

On the 1st of June all the teenagers went to attend the Holy Mass for birthday of Fr. Preeda Wiengchai in the chapel at the center. After that they had dinner and gave a gift to father at the center. We hope he is in good healthy.
On the 18th of June all the teenagers had a clean up day of cutting the grass and keeping the center clean and tidy in and around the Independent Living Center.

On May, all the teenagers have a lot of activities to do before the schools open again. They were upgrade in their new class. Some of the teenagers moved to study to another school in the local area. They had to prepare by shopping for school equipment.
On the 28th – 30th of April the center organized the activity for all the teenagers to do. They had a class with Fr.Preeda Wiengchai and under took activity together. They prepared to be the leader so that they could help poor people in the community.

On the 28th of March - 2nd of April all the teenagers had the good opportunity to attend the “Catechism Camp” (it is an education in the faith for children, young people and adults which includes especially the teaching of Christian doctrine imparted, generally speaking, in an organic and systematic way, with a view to initiating the hearers into the fullness of Christian life.). And Fr. Preeda Wiengchai went to teach Catechism and shared his experience of priest to all the teenagers at the Independent Living Center. They were preparing for the Easter period.

On the 4th of March two volunteers from Netherlands, Gerard & Johan took all the teenagers from the Independent Living Center to have lunch in the restaurant at Lamthong Department Store in Rayong. We enjoyed eating a lot of special food together. We would like to say thank you for their kindness to our children.
On the 5th of March we received a visit form Mr. Mario from Italy he is a support of our center. He came and organized the party for everybody at the center. All the teenagers went to have dinner at the center with him.

On the 5th of February the Camillian Social Center Rayong had a new project for helping the poor family in Rayong province. We began to help the poor family in the local area. They constructed a fish pool from which the local people should be able to earn a living. Fr. Preeda Wiengchai was the one who incharge this.
On the 15th of February we celebrated the birthday party for 2 teenagers at the Independent Living Center, they are Ree and Ou. Ree is 17 years old and Ou is 20 years old. They have good result at the school; both of them are studying hard for their future. After Ou graduated from the secondary school certificate, he would like to study in the Vocational School. And Ree is doing well with her education in the ordinary curriculum at the school. We hoped they are happy, good health and strength. God bless them.

On the 15th of January, all the teenagers were given a day out at Pattaya Park with Mr. Jo and his friends who are from Italy. They are supporters of the Center. All the teenagers enjoyed playing and swimming and lunch together. We would like to say thank you to them for supporting and we hoped they were happy. God bless them.
