Newsletter from the Camillian Children’s Home December 2010 
Here we are once again with a new newsletter from the Camillian Children’s Home for December 2010. We had a lot of activities all month.
On the 1st of December, Fr. Phakavee and the children from the Center went to attend a HIV activity program at the Rayong Province. Because the Camillian Social Center supports this campaign and joins the hands with the local community. There were a lot of HIV booths that shared the knowledge for the people in the local area. On that day the Center are donated a lot of milk and nine of the children also are received scholarships from Khun Woravut Pinngean the vice-governor of Rayong Province.

Here we are once again with a new of the newsletter from the Camillian Children’s Home for November 2010.
On the 2nd of November was all souls day. We attended the Holy Mass in front of the remembrance building that holds the ashes of the dead from our center.
On the 8th of November, Mr. Stefano and his wife who are supporters of our center took all the children at the Center to have dinner in the restaurant at Numrin Beach. They enjoyed having dinner together. After dinner all the children sang a song to say thank you to Mr. Stefano and his wife. At the end they were happy and God blessed them. We thank them for supporting us in a lovely dinner.

On the 2nd of October, in the morning Mr. Mark and Mr. Paul with his friends who are one of the supporters of the Center brought all the children taken care by the Center with all teachers from the Children’s Home to Koh Samet Island at Rayong. After that they have lunch together in the restaurant. When they have finished lunch, some children changed new clothes for swimming in the sea and some children walked around on the beach until 4 pm and then they took showers. After that Mr. Mark and Mr. Paul had organized some fruit for everybody. All the children enjoyed eating and playing at Koh Samet Island. Before we left we said thank you and some children gave the cards to the supporters. We were very happy. At the end of day we all wished them good luck and good health.

Dear friends and supporters, Here we are once again with a new of the newsletter from the Camillian Children’s Home for September 2010.
On the 3rd of August, in the evening, all the children at the Center went to the Charity Dinner at PMY Beach Resort at the Rayong Province this charity dinner was in support of children living with HIV/AIDS at the Camillian Social Center Rayong. The name of the event was “THE BRIDGE OF HOPE”. All the children from the center were very excited to attend the Charity Dinner. In attendance was the assistant governor of the Rayong province and local show business celebrity’s who also gave a performance on stage. Our children also made up part of the entertainment by performing a song that they had spent a lot of their spare time practicing. Real good fun was had on the night by all.

Dear friends and supporters, Here we are once again with a new of the newsletter from the Camillian Children’s Home for August 2010.
On the 3rd August, we celebrated the birthday for 6 children; they are Boy, Diow, and Em, Morn, Pop and Jen. The children were very happy and excited to receive the gift from father.
On the 7th August, ten of our children and two of our teachers at the Center went to join in ordination of Fr. Kreangkai Sukhjit and Fr. Watchara Seangjarean at Sampran, Nakornpathom Province. Some of our children got up early morning and prepared before leave from the Center.

On the 7th July, in the evening, Mr. Norman, Mr. Stephen and their friends who are our supporters of our center came to visit us at the Center with ice-cream for all the children. The children enjoyed eating the ice-cream.
On the 10th July, in the morning, the owners of the Camel Pub from Ban Chang came to visit us and donated money for our Center which was raised during their summer golf tournament. Our Center had the opportunity to say thank you to the owners of the Camel Pub with a performance of campanology from the children at the Center. God bless them.

On the 19th of June, Dream World a theme park in Bangkok held a special project called “Sharing Smile to the Children” on this day they invited many organization like the Camillian Social Center Rayong to a free day out for underprivileged children throughout this area. We were very lucky that a very good friend of the center had arrived back in Thailand a few days before this event, Mr. Norman and his friend Steven from the north of England and they meet the children at Dream World. Mr. Norman and Steven paid for lunch for everyone and snacks. The day started very early from Rayong in order to be at dream World for the opening. By the time the children arrived back at our center that night they were all very tired after a wonderful day out, so it was a shower and into bed.

On the 4th – 6th of May, the 6 of our children went to attend a camping trip at the Pratumtanee. They were very happy and would like to go back again, because they enjoyed meeting many new friends and on were sleeping in opening air-condition. Before they came back home everybody enjoyed going to the Dream World Park. All the children were very happy with the day out.
On the 9th of May, all the children had opportunity go to a Summer Camping trip to the nearby naval military base at Sattahep by Fr. Vutigon Panyingyok from our Center. All the children were very happy playing many games. All the children were very excited and happy to go out camping.

The beginning of on the 1st of April, it was Holy Thursday. All the children at the Center and all the teenagers from the Independent Living Center attended Holy Mass celebrated by Fr. Andrew at the Center. We welcome 4 brothers who came as to be trained at the PCU (Palliative Care Unit) for 1 month.
On the 3rd of April, in the afternoon the group from the Sentcabial School of Bangkok came to organized activities with out children. Every body was happy and excited very much because they played many games.

On the 1st of March we said goodbye to a volunteer group of nurses from Japan. In the church they sang a Thai song with the children and we wished them all the best for their future.
On the 2nd – 3rd of March, A TV show crew called Sengtam (Lux Mundi), a catholic network, came to visit us and make a video about the activities of our children. Everybody was excited appear on the TV. The show will on air at the 4.00 AM on the 20th of April 2010.
On the 6th of March, after lunch Mr. Norman and his friend who are some of our supporters came to visit us and donated snacks for the children. They came to say good bye as they are returning home soon. Everybody enjoyed singing thanks for them. We wish them a good journey home. God bless them.

On the 7th of February, our children had prepared entertainment for the opening of our new building. The building is sponsored in its entirety by Mr. Prasit Chantratip who started a charitable foundation after the death of his own little girl due to illness some years ago. The new building rests on the sight of our old pagoda and follows the same hexagonal shape. It has three floors the first being continued as the eating and recreational area for the adult patients. The second floor is extra sleeping accommodation for our older boys. The third floor will be used for the boy’s recreation. We had a Holy Mass and a special blessing performed by Fr. Andrew Wutikon, and in the same day we celebrated the world day of the sick.

On the 3rd of January, our children and Fr. Giovanni went to celebrate Mr. Carlo’s birthday. Mr. Carlo is one of our supporters who live in Pattaya. All the children enjoyed eating pizzas and received many presents. We give him many thanks and wish him great happiness.
On the 7th of January, Mr. Jo and his friends came to visit our children and donated, as Christmas gift, a truck load of rice 100 large bags in total. Thank you very much for your help.
